11.5" x 8.50"; 70 pages plus the cover. From 1917 to 1979 Girl Scouts of America published a magazine, originally called "The Rally" and then "The American Girl" (not to be confused with the currently published American Girl magazine).
At one time this magazine had the largest circulation of any magazine aimed at teen-aged girls.
This rare 96 year old collectors magazine will be an antique in a few years. It is in good condition for the age. The cover has moderate chipping and is detached from the orginal staples. A few pages show moderate age tones.
The magazine has articles about fashion and short stories. The magazine has some very cool vintage advertising. This is a great piece for both magazine and Girl Scout collectors. Please view photos as they are part of the description.
